Attaquant Enterprises is a former ethanol distillery plant manufacturers, suppliers and exporter in Uganda. Due to the rising use of renewable energy, ethanol is a useful product that can be used as biomass fuel, and it reduces greenhouse gas emissions because the biomass used to make it absorbs carbon dioxide while growing.

Our distillery plants are made with advanced technologies that produce ethanol and alcohol from a variety of sources, including grains, molasses, sugar syrup, beverages and food waste. These are made with high-quality stainless steel for improving durability, and the smooth surface of the interiors makes it easy to clean and sanitize. Producing ethanol in the ethanol distilleries goes through several processes and sourcing from raw materials to the final purification process. We have listed down each step in detail and also its multiple benefits!

A detailed ethanol-forming procedure through our ethanol distillery plant:

As a former ethanol distillery plant manufacturer and supplier in Uganda, we have mentioned below a detailed overview of the procedure of making ethanol with our new technological ethanol distillery plant:

  • Feedstock Preparation: Multiple types of raw materials such as corn, sugarcane, sorghum, and cassava can be used in our ethanol distillery plant. The chosen feedstock is processed through fermentation methods for sugars, while starchy materials, such as corn, undergo grinding and liquefaction. Our new technological precision milling technology uses mechanical separation technologies for grinding grains, maximizing sugar extraction. Modern biorefineries are designed to support efficient ethanol production.
  • Hydrolysis and Saccharification (Enzyme or Acid Treatment): Our next-generation enzymes for lignocellulosic biomass break down celluloses and hemicelluloses, making the saccharification process more efficient. This process heats lignocellulosic materials through steam, increasing sugar yields. In our ethanol starch process, complex carbohydrates such as starch and cellulose are converted into fermentable sugars like glucose and xylose.
  • Fermentation: Our ethanol distillery plants use continuous fermentation systems to improve efficiency compared to traditional batch fermentation. Yeast and bacteria convert the sugars into ethanol, and microorganisms also play a key role in the process. Our system integrates simultaneous saccharification and fermentation, combining hydrolysis and fermentation into a single step, saving time and energy.
  • Distillation: Distillation is a crucial process for separating ethanol after fermentation, where the ethanol concentration reaches 8–12%. Ethanol is separated from water by heating up to 78.37°C, with water boiling at 100°C. Our advanced multi-pressure distillation system and membrane distillation further separate ethanol while reducing energy consumption.
  • Dehydration (Removing Residual Water): The vapor phase absorption method used in our ethanol distillery plant efficiently removes residual water from ethanol. By passing ethanol through an absorption bed, the water vapor is removed, resulting in ethanol that is 95-96% pure. The remaining water content is eliminated through the dehydration process.

Technical Specification of our ethanol distillery plant:
