The working process of our solvent recovery plant:
One of the best solvent industrial solvent recovery systems manufacturers and suppliers in Uganda, our solvent recovery plant is made with advanced technological innovation, which improves the overall structure and productivity. Here we have listed down the process in detail:
-
Collection of Solvent-Laden Air/Stream: This is the first and most important step of our solvent extraction plant, where we collect solvent-laden air or liquid from various industrial processes, including chemical production, printing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Our vapor phase absorption system utilizes carbon beds and zeolites to absorb solvents from vapor, ensuring purity, while an advanced filtration system separates particles from the extraction.
-
Pre-Treatment (Condensation): In this process, the collected vapor is cooled to liquefy the solvents. We employ cryogenic condensation technology, using nitrogen to improve the recovery rate for low-volatility solvents, effectively removing the bulk of the solvent for further processing.
-
Absorption: The remaining solvents in the air stream are absorbed into solid materials using zeolite-based absorption. The new pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technology enables continuous absorption by utilizing higher pressure for more effective solvent capture.
-
Desorption (Regeneration of Adsorbent): This regeneration process involves heating or steaming the absorbent to release the solvent. Innovative vacuum desorption and microwave regeneration methods enhance energy efficiency by lowering pressure and directly heating the absorbent material.
-
Distillation: Following condensation and absorption, the mixture undergoes distillation, where solvents are purified and impurities separated. Our advanced multi-stage distillation units and vacuum distillation techniques operate at lower temperatures, enhancing separation efficiency and producing accurate, pure products.
-
Solvent Purification and Drying: After distillation, residual water and contaminants remain in the solvent. We employ additional separation technologies, including membrane separation and advanced molecular sieves, for effective removal of impurities, ensuring precise extraction.

Unique Feature and Benefits of Using Our Solvent Recovery System:
As a former solvent recovery plant manufacturers and suppliers in Uganda, our plant is made with pure forms of materials such as aluminum, copper and nickel and equipped with new technologies and gives more performance, such as:
-
Distillation Technologies: With the integration of Industrial Automation 4.0, we have implemented various technologies such as Multi-Effect Distillation (MED) and vacuum distillation. These methods utilize multi-stage distillation for purifying components while minimizing waste from unwanted mixtures. Vacuum distillation lowers the overall temperature and boiling point, employing vacuum technology to reduce thermal degradation.
-
Membrane Separation Technologies: This critical procedure in our solvent recovery system enhances solvent recoverability from materials. The evaporation process facilitates solvent removal through vaporization, while reverse osmosis (RO) separates solvents based on molecular size using a semi-permeable membrane.
-
Cryogenic Condensation: This feature is essential for recovery systems, where waste solvent vapors are cooled to extremely low temperatures using gases like liquid nitrogen. This method is energy-efficient compared to other cooling techniques and is widely used in industrial applications such as specialty chemical production, food and beverage industries, and metal fabrication.
-
Heat Exchanger Technologies: Our heat exchangers incorporate advanced designs, such as plate and shell technology, which enhance energy efficiency and minimize heat loss. These systems are particularly utilized in Uganda's industrial zones, including Jebel Ali and Al Quoz, ensuring optimal performance in demanding environments.
-
Environmental Compliance: Our solvent recovery plant operates with lower energy consumption compared to traditional facilities, resulting in reduced emissions and effective VOC capture. The new technological processes minimize human intervention, recycle waste materials, and repurpose them for other applications.
