The pressurized liquid is circulated multiple times, with evaporation occurring in a separate flash chamber. High-efficiency circulation pumps are connected to reduce energy consumption. These evaporators feature anti-scaling coatings, such as PTFE and ceramic, which enhance durability.
  • Wiped Film Evaporator (WFE): This evaporation plant contains rotating wiper systems, distributing and vaporizing the liquid in a thin, uniform film. These high-speed wiper systems have roller blades to maintain the film's consistency at higher speeds. The internal structure features vacuum systems to maintain lower temperatures, preserving sensitive materials.   • Agitated Thin Film Evaporator (ATFE): Similar to wiped film evaporators, these units use agitators instead of wipers. High-speed motion distributes the liquid across a heated surface, creating uniform motion and allowing for solid material processing. The agitators often feature ceramic or Teflon coatings for increased durability. These evaporators are used in polymers, polymer resins, and pharmaceuticals.
  • Multiple Effect Evaporators (MEE): These evaporators minimize energy consumption by generating vapor from one effect and using it as a heating medium in subsequent steps. The boiling point of the vapor decreases with each step, enhancing evaporation. Modern technologies, such as mechanical vapor recompression (MVR) and thermal vapor recompression (TVR), improve performance.
